Step 1: The first step in order to record your screen is to launch the VLC media player. If you don’t have it on your PC, then download it from here.

Step 2: Next step you have to do is to click on Media > Open Convert/Save [CTRL + R].

Step 4:  After setting frame rate, click on Convert/Save button to open Convert dialog box.

Step 5: Now in the Convert dialog box, you’ll find a Destination file section. Click on the Browse button and then choose the location where you want to save your screen recordings, type a name for your file, and then click on the Save button.

After applying all the above steps, now the VLC will start recording the screen. VLC will record anything on the screen.

Step 6: Now when you’re done with your work and want to stop the recording, all you’ve to do is to click on the STOP button. After clicking Stop button, VLC Media Player will stop the recording and your file will be saved in your defined location. Click on Stop


You can now open your recorded video file from the saved location and watch your screen recording.
