1

Here are Some Cool ways by which you can make your Windows 10 Faster.

Windows 10 is the most used version of all the windows, It has been positively reviewed the most since 2015 when it was released. But heavy use and aging hardware inevitably slows it down and make it sluggish.
Here are some steps that can help you keep Windows 10 performing to its maximum capacity.

1.Adjust visual effects

The Windows 10 animations look visually attractive, but those effects use most of the computing power. But of course, here’s an option to save your power by a simple step.
Type performance in the taskbar search box and select Adjust the appearance and performance of Windows.
A dialogue box will open, On the Visual Effects tab of the same, select Adjust for best performance and click Apply. Restart your PC to make the change take effect.

2. Turn on fast startup

Another way to make certain that you save your power and Windows 10 boots up faster is enabling a feature called fast startup which will load the hibernation file into memory and saves time.
The setting is usually enabled by default. To check, go to the Control Panel and click Power Options. Next click Choose what the power buttons do and then Change settings currently unavailable.
At last, Tick the Turn On fast start up the checkbox under Shut-down settings.

3. Make updates more efficient

Make sure that Windows 10 and programs are up to date, this can improve its performance by eliminating bugs. Automatic updates should be on by default. To check everything is up-to-date, click Start then Settings, Update & security, Windows Update and Check for updates. To turn automatic updates on, select Advanced options, and then under Choose how updates are installed, click Automatic (recommended).

Also, To make updates run when you want and don’t need the additional power, search for Windows Update settings, click on the relevant icon, and under Update settings select Change active hours.
You can then choose the times at which you want updates to be installed automatically.

4. Run disk cleanup

Disk Cleanup can be used to save up drive space which can help Windows run better by removing unnecessary files.
Click Start and search for Disk clean-up and click it when it appears. To delete temporary files, under Files to delete, select the file types you want to remove and select OK.

To free up extra space by deleting system files, select Clean up system files, and again select the file types you want to remove and select OK.

5. Disable unnecessary startup programs

If you have an excessive number of programs set up to start automatically and run in the background, it will slow down the startup of Windows 10.
To disable those programs you don’t need, press Ctrl + Alt + Delete, and then select Task Manager. Select More details in the lower-left corner of the Task Manager dialogue box and select the Startup tab.
Select Disable for any program you don’t need. Restart your PC to make the changes take effect. This will significantly make your Windows 10 Faster than before.
