AMD Radeon RX Vega is coming soon !

Now AMD is making their move in gaming industry with their Next generation Vega graphic processor. The company claimed that AMD Radeon RX Vega will compete with Nvidia’s Geforce GTX Titan 1080 Ti in flagship battle. The company is entrusting their faith in their upcoming Vega GPU which is to be released in this year’s summer, most probably in the month of May.

AMD RX Vega GPU is revised name of Radeon graphics with significant changes in processor architecture. So as per Technical advisors, AMD RX Vega is the real name of AMD upcoming flagship though they are rumoured as RX 490 or RX 580. Recently, AMD made some statement about Vega’s specification at Game Developers Conference but, they haven’t declared any official statement about the price range yet.

Though there is no clear pricing information of Vega but previous experiences suggest that AMD always promise by lowering the price. Radeon RX 480, AMD’s recent flagship is significantly low in price though it is still no match for NVIDIA’s flagship Geforce 1080 Ti. However, AMD’s RX Vega is expected to have lower price compare NVIDIA’s Geforce 1080 Ti which cost €700.

As per the leak the AMD Vega come with 14nm GFX9 GPU base on NCU. This GPU featuring 4096 stream processors. NCU is mostly used to control chip performance. It means when high performance tasks like gaming at ultra-settings require only at that time chip will reveal its full performance otherwise only a portion of the chip is active which will cause less heat dissipation which results more efficient performance.

Consumer version of Vega 10 model will come with an 8 GB 2nd generation High Bandwidth Memory or HBM2. HBM2 is one of the most exciting new features. Most graphics cards, even NVIDIA use GDDR5 memory. This has the drawback of a relatively narrow bus, which is equipoised by high memory frequencies.

The chip expects to come up with the memory bandwidth of 512GB/s. The clock speed is around 1526Mhz with 225W TDP. All versions will support PCI Express version 3.0. However, Consumer variant may have higher clock speed but deficiency of cooling capabilities is one the drawbacks which may overwhelmed by better cooling facility provided by different companies like Ryzen, Vega is creating high expectation among the customers. As Per AMD’s press statement, they confirmed Vega 10 expected release in the 1st half of Year. Some other leaks also informed that the low-end version of Vega will also release on the same day.

  1. An additional issue is video games are generally serious in nature with the key focus on mastering rather than amusement. Although, there’s an entertainment feature to keep your young ones engaged, each one game is usually designed to focus on a specific set of skills or course, such as mathmatical or technology.
